Eligible expenditures under this
program area include (but are not necessarily limited to):
* Instructional costs
* Books and materials
* Supplies and equipment
* Exam fees
* Certification/re-certification expense
* Continuing education programs
* Defibrillators
* Basic and advanced life support equipment
* Universal precaution supplies
* Medical personal protective equipment
* Computers
* Expendable supplies
* Infectious disease control and decontamination systems
* Mobile and portable communications equipment
* Integrated communications systems
* Transportation costs, if adequately justified
* Renovations to an existing facility (if the renovations are
minor and less than $10,000, consistent with rules published in
the Federal Register).
